1. What We Collect

When you create an account or use Ted Reminders, we collect:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your business name and contact information
  • Phone number (if you enable SMS reminders)
  • Your customers' names, email addresses, and phone numbers (for sending reminders)
  • Invoice data you enter into the service
  • Billing information processed through Stripe (we do not store card numbers)

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect to:

  • Send automated invoice reminder emails via AWS Simple Email Service (SES)
  • Send automated invoice reminder SMS messages via Twilio
  • Manage your subscription and process payments through Stripe
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
  • Improve and maintain the service

We do not sell your data or your customers' data to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

Ted Reminders relies on the following third-party services to operate:

  • Twilio — SMS message delivery. Your customers' phone numbers are transmitted to Twilio to send reminder messages.
  • AWS Simple Email Service (SES) — Email delivery. Your customers' email addresses are transmitted to AWS SES to send reminder emails.
  • Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe handles all subscription billing. See Stripe's privacy policy for details on how they handle payment data.

4. SMS Messaging

By enabling SMS reminders, you confirm that you have obtained the necessary consent from your customers to receive text messages from your business. Standard message and data rates may apply to recipients.

Recipients can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. They may reply HELP for assistance.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, we will delete your data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or tax purposes.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel only. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
