1. Service Description

Ted Reminders provides an automated invoice reminder service that sends email and SMS notifications to your customers on your behalf. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate contact information for yourself and your customers
  • Obtaining all necessary consents from your customers before sending them email or SMS reminders through our service
  • Ensuring your use of Ted Reminders complies with all applicable laws, including CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and any other regulations governing electronic communications
  • Keeping your account credentials secure and confidential

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Ted Reminders to:

  • Send unsolicited messages (spam) to individuals who have not consented to receive communications from you
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse any person
  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers connected to the service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Subscription and Billing

Ted Reminders is a subscription service billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the rate shown at sign-up.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • You may cancel at any time through your account settings; access continues through the end of the current billing period
  • Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice

5. SMS Messaging Terms

When you enable SMS reminders, messages are sent via Twilio on your behalf. You acknowledge that:

  • Standard message and data rates may apply to your customers based on their carrier plans
  • Recipients may opt out at any time by replying STOP
  • You are responsible for ensuring recipients have consented to receive SMS messages from your business
  • We are not liable for undelivered messages due to carrier issues or invalid phone numbers

6. Limitation of Liability

Ted Reminders is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ted Reminders and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the applicable courts, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice in the application. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
